One Lane Northbound Interstate 65 Traffic Exit 318 Lacon

Plan to travel northbound along Interstate 65 on Tuesday and Wednesday? Will you be near the Lacon / Exit 318 area?

If so: Heads Up … one of the northbound lanes will be closed creating a single land situation and likely an ongoing traffic jam.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advises motorists that the OUTSIDE NORTHBOUND LANE of Interstate 65 near Exit 318 at Lacon will be closed from 8 am to 3 pm on:

• Tuesday, February 21

• Wednesday, February 22

This will allow district forces and ALDOT’s statewide bridge crews time to repair the bridge and guardrail.

Work will be performed as weather permits. Motorists are advised to expect delays and drive with caution in the work zone.
