IMAGES Biggest Best Ever MHM Community Expo 2017

Simply stated, the 2017 MHM Community’s EXPO was their best event ever.

With FREE admission, 60+ family-friendly vendors & crafters, tons of fun activities for all ages and a lengthy roster of outstanding door prizes all inside the Cullman Civic Center, hundreds of area families enthusiastically turned out to support the MHM effort.

Many of the guests came from across Northern Alabama and some as far away as Florida to participate in the wide diversity of options.

During peak times, the walkways on the floor of the Civic Center were literally packed with attendees. The final head count on the number of total guests has not yet been fully calculated, but MHM Community Founder and Director Tiffiney Crawford believes it was a record crowd far exceeding previous years.

Attendees got the rare opportunity to interact with other mothers, families and local merchants and service providers as well as stay-at-home parents who run their own business from home.

With over 8,300 active members, the thriving MHM Community is Cullman’s largest and influential gathering place for all things related to ‘Mothers Helping Mothers’.

At its core, the MHM Community is designed to give primarily mothers the opportunity to collaborate and enjoy fellowship other women who share the joys and challenges of parenthood.

Crawford summed up the essence of the MHM Community this way:

“More than anything, the MHM Community allows mothers the chance to connect with each other. Many moms feel alone. Some feel hopeless. The MHM Community is an avenue for them to feel loved, regain hope, and to know that whatever they are facing, someone has already faced it. And that they are never alone.”

Saturday marked the 4th annual edition of MHM Community’s wildly successful and ever-expanding Expo series.

There were also appearances by several well-known Disney characters, free luxurious 10 to 15-minute massages by an Angel’s Touch staff, ever-important car seat safety installation demonstrations AND delicious food from Mad Dog Mike’s BBQ.
