Highway 31 School Bus Versus Passenger Car Collision

No injuries in school bus versus passenger car collision in front of Inland Buildings.

Emergency responders from Cullman Fire Rescue & the Cullman Police Department are on the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a Cullman County school bus and a passenger car.

The location is Highway 31 South in front of Inland Building. Traffic is currently blocked northbound on Highway 31 with some motorists aggressively detouring through the Inland parking lot.

The school bus involved did have students on board, but at this time there appear to be no injuries to any occupants including school children. That is great news!

A second bus has just arrived. Students are now being transferred from the damaged bus to the more operable replacement.

Cullman Fire Rescue Division Chief Darren Peoples has confirmed no injuries. He also expects one lane around the wreck to be open once students are escorted from the scene.

Northbound traffic on 31 is largely unaffected.
