This medical condition is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in the country. Risks of acquiring colorectal cancer increase significantly with age. It is greater in men than in women.

Cullman Regional will be offering lunch AND the chance for you to join them in a Colon Cancer Awareness Seminar.

This important community wellness gathering will occur tomorrow (Thursday, March 16) in the Colonel Cullman Room housed in the Community Education Center at the Professional Office Building 2.

Early diagnosis is an essential element in achieving a complete cure of colon cancer.

Esteemed Surgeon Dr. William E. Smith will lead this Colon Cancer Awareness luncheon. He will provide information on how – with proper screening – colon cancer is detectable well before symptoms develop.

Doors will open at 11:00 am. This life-enhancing program will begin at 11:30 am sharp.
