CULLMAN COUNTY WEATHER Wednesday March 15 2017


TODAY: Cullman County weather continues with unseasonably cold temperatures and wind chills. It is likely to remain below freezing until 11 am or so with single-digit-to-mid-teens wind chills. If you do not have to be outside, don’t. The Skies will be clear with sun ‘warning’ things up to perhaps above 40° for a few hours.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies deliver a low around 25° with a north-northwest wind around five mph becoming calm after midnight.


The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a Freeze
Warning, which is in effect from 9 pm tonight to 11 am on Thursday.

IMPACTS: The freeze will damage vegetation that has already produced blossoms and swollen buds. Fruit crops and berries will be at risk.

Take necessary precautions to protect any outside sensitive plants. These cold temperatures could also impact pipes along exterior walls.

THURSDAY: Warm-up begins with mostly sunny skies and a high near 52°. Calm wind becomes northeasterly around five mph.
