Race Results ECM Speedway April 8 2017

Cullman Today will be posting full race results from ECM Speedway throughout the racing season.

A large turnout of several hundred motorcar race enthusiasts was on hand for the regular race card at ECM Speedway on Saturday night. The arrival of the first ever Mid-South Big 8 Street Stock Series added both suspense and anticipation to the event.

It was perfect racing weather at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia early Saturday night. However, dropping temperatures as the evening progressed had spectators bundling up toward the race night’s end.

The featured race at ECM Speedway involved the inaugural Mid-South Big 8 Street Stock Series.

Richie Berryhill (#41) of McKenzie, TN won the featured race of this series. Berryhill took home a hard-earned $1,500 for the winning effort:

Megan Batten was in a scary wreck that left her #4 car with extensive structural damage. Treated immediately on the track by members of Good Hope Fire & Rescue as well as Regional Paramedical Services, she got transported to UAB Medical Center. Her injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries:
