Cullman County’s only Urgent Care facility that will care for all patients, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.

Cullman Regional broke ground this afternoon on their new Urgent Care Outpatient Imaging Center.

This very large-scale expansion was first announced back in January during their ‘State of the Hospital’ Community Leaders Luncheon.

The State of Alabama Department of Public Health granted approval for Cullman Regional to develop an Urgent Care Center and Outpatient Imaging Center.

You can watch the groundbreaking ceremony and hear the reactions and thoughts from Dale Greer (Cullman Economic Development Agency), Kerry Watson (Cullman County Commissioner), Leah Bolin (Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce) and the headliner James Clements (CEO – Cullman Regional):

The Urgent Care Center (UCC) will be located on the Cullman Regional campus which will allow patients improved access to healthcare services. The proximity to the Emergency Department will allow non-emergent cases referral to the UCC during high volume times in the emergency room which will reduce wait times for emergency patient care.

On hand to commemorate this auspicious groundbreaking occasion were many top Cullman Regional employees and Cullman area elected officials, community leaders, and dignitaries.

The new Urgent Care Outpatient Imaging Center is projected to open for business sometime in the fall of this year.
