The goals of this class are three-fold:

1. To teach proper, basic usage of firearms

2. Promote the safest handling of guns and ammunition

3. Self-protection in circumstances where a firearm may be required.

Hanceville Police Chief Bob Long is a certified firearms instructor. He will lead this class:

“Women need to know how to defend themselves. It is my job to make sure that females who attend this class walk away more comfortable handling a gun, understand the basic firearm safety requirements and empower them to be able to defend themselves.

We’ve had almost 300 students in these classes over the last four years. I feel like this instruction series genuinely benefits the community.”
