2017 Cullman Youth Leadership Graduates

2017 Cullman Youth Leadership Graduates/em>

Twenty-four (24) Cullman County high school students graduated.

The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce 2016-17 Youth Leadership Class concluded last week.

Twenty-four (24) Cullman County high school students graduated (see below).

The Youth Leadership Class is a nine-month series of seminars and programs designed to educate selected youth participants on a wide variety community issues such as:

• Agriculture
• Criminal Justice
• Economic Development
• Education
• Government
• Healthcare
• Quality of Life

The graduation for this year’s class was held at Stone Bridge Farms on Tuesday, May 16th.

The graduation sponsor was American Proteins with R.E. Garrison Trucking, Inc. presenting.

The Youth Leadership Class has graduated right at 300 students over the years. It is designed to identify, prepare and build upon leadership resources within Cullman County by bringing leaders together to discuss the present and future direction of our county.

The goal is to prepare these students for greater civic involvement through volunteer roles in the community.

★ Lauryn Tankersley – Fairview

★ Will Dickerson – Good Hope
★ Carrie Grace Doss – Good Hope

★ Madalyn Wilbanks – Hanceville
★ Asante Wilson – Hanceville

★ Sydni Benefield – Holly Pond
★ Saylah Daugherty – Holly Pond
