Crack Cocaine Seized By CPD In Undercover Controlled Substance Operation
Dodge City Shell Station Scene of Arrest Sunday Night
Investigators with the Cullman Police Department (CPD) closed the loop on multiple, coordinated undercover narcotics operations on Sunday evening.
Captain Becky Boyd along with Officers Justin Craft and Scott Sanford picked off a Birmingham man with multiple outstanding felony warrants known to CPD.
They made the arrest during a traffic stop at the Shell gas station in Dodge City on Sunday, July 9th.
Craft, Sanford and Officer Eric Cole were directly involved in the traffic stop and subsequent arrest.
The arrestee and vehicle driver were: Deangelo Dewayne Lewis (34)
Concurrent with the undercover operation on Lewis, Officers Cole Kelley and Tyler Jackson apprehended a female passenger in the same vehicle.
They discovered this occupant to be in possession of multiple plastic baggies containing Crack Cocaine.
Kelley and Jackson promptly arrested: Brittany Hill (30)
Investigators then transported Lewis and Hill to the Cullman County Detention Center where they were both processed and booked.
Lewis is facing two (2) counts of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
Hill was charged with Unlawful Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance.
Both arrested parties are residents of Birmingham, AL.
