10:42 pm Update: LAMB CAPTURED

The Sheriff has activated off duty personnel and the Jasper Police Department is providing assistance. Parrish Police, Constables, and ALEA Aviation Unit with FLIR have provided assistance as well.

Walker County Sheriff’s Office is asking downtown Jasper residents and merchants to lock their doors, stay inside, and turn on ALL outdoor lighting.

10:30 pm Update: MCGUFF CAPTURED


According to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, twelve (12) inmates have escaped from the Walker County Jail. Six have been captured; six still at-large.

The following inmates are still at large:

Steven Blake Lamb (28) of Quinton
(in jail for Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st, Theft 1st, Reckless Endangerment, Probation Revocation)

Christopher Micheal Smith (19) Jasper
(in jail for Attempted Murder, Burglary 1st, Unlawful Breaking and Entering, Theft 2nd)

Michael Adam McGuff (30) of Jasper
(in jail for Escape 3rd and Obstructing Govt Operations)

Brady Andrew Kilpatrick (24) of Cordova
(in jail for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marihuana 2nd)

Larry Inman Jr. (29) of Parrish
(in jail for 2 counts of Receiving Stolen Property, Attempting to Elude, Failure to Appear)

Ethan Howard Pearl (24) of Jasper
(in jail for Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Govt Operations, Poss Drug Paraphernalia, Promoting Prison Contraband, FTA on Theft 4th)

A $500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest of the escapees.

Kristopher Keith Secrest (20) of Oakman
(in jail for Felony Domestic Violence 2nd and Giving False Information to Law Enforcement)

Quadrekas Latoddrick Key (21) of Parrish
(in jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Attempting to Elude)

Timothy Chaz Cooper (28) of Cordova
(in jail for Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle and Theft 4th )

Steven Sanford Hartley (27) of Hoover
(in jail for Theft of Property 1st )
