The 23rd running of the EvaBank Midnight Run 5K commenced at 12 midnight on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
This extremely popular 5K run is conducted every year on the streets of Cullman at midnight just prior to the beginning of the new school year.
Saturday’s race sported around 550 runners from cross the region of all ages, all athletic skill levels and varying interests in neon, glitter and black lights. This year’s course featured black light glow stations as well as color stations where runners were thoroughly doused with neon, glowing, powdered colors.
Serious runners were able to bypass these color stations and focus on maxing out their times. The race was professionally monitored, timed and results reported by Rock Solid Race Timing.
Awards and cash prizes were given to a long list of winners across all age brackets. You can see the full list of Top Three Winners here.
For the FULL RESULTS with all 391 participants who finished the race (and got their effort clocked and accounted for), go here.
There was also a ragingly fun black light dance party before and after the race!
