The Hanceville Police Department held their 8th annual Kids Night Out at C.W. Day Park on Friday, August 4th from 6 to 8 pm.

The food, fun, and fellowship were FREE to the community.

Kids Night Out allowed youngsters and their parents to have a good time, relax and most importantly, meet the men and women who protect them from crime, fires, and other emergencies every day in Hanceville and across Cullman County.

The core purpose of this event – beyond entertaining citizens and community building with emergency responders – is assisting the Hanceville Schools to generate annual funding for much-needed school supplies for students. This year’s Kids Night Out will support the educational supply needs of many, many students.

Kids Night Out has something for literally everyone of all ages:

• Free Chicken Sandwiches + refreshments – by American Proteins

• 1,000 Free Hot Dogs

• Free Pizza – by the City of Hanceville

• Free Ice Cream

• Rock Climbing Wall

• Multiple Inflatable Rides
