Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort In Full Swing At Cullman Elks Lodge

Members of the Cullman Elks Lodge have teamed up with Cullman’s R.E. Garrison Trucking Company to collect and physically deliver much-needed supplies to the flood victims at risk along the Texas coast in the aftermath of the record setting hurricane Harvey.

Cullman residents can begin participating directly with this relief effort Wednesday morning at 8 am.

You can bring the following items to the Cullman Elks Lodge at 1609 Brantley Ave. NW in Cullman:

• Bottled Water by the case
• Blankets, Pillows
• Cots
• Baby Food
• Baby Supplies
• Non-perishable Snack Food
• Pet Food

R.E. Garrison is donating the use of an 18-wheeler with box trailer along with a driver. The plan is for them to make a 9+ hour drive to Beaumont, TX.

According to Parker, the Beaumont Elks Lodge is safe and on dry ground with flooding all around. They have an open shelter activated and operational for flood victims displaced by Harvey.

Donations will continue through Friday until the truck is full.
