Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible this morning, well ahead of an approaching cold front.

Thunderstorms will increase in coverage and intensity this afternoon and continue through the evening, as the front crosses the region.

A few strong storms are possible, producing gusty winds up to 50 to 60 mph and heavy rainfall.

Expect rain showers and thunderstorms mainly after 1 pm.

High near 83. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.
