Senior Day Cullman County Fair 2017

Wednesday, September 27, 2017, was Senior Day at the Cullman County Fair.

This free event for Cullman area Seniors ran from 10 am to 2 pm.

Participants came by car, bus and a few on foot to partake in a variety activities including:

• Select Midway Rides
• Fully Staffed Exhibition Halls
• Fun & Games of All Sorts
• Open Concession Area
• Blue Grass Music by Betty, Karen & Vandy

The Emcee for Senior Day was the esteemed Miss Alabama 1984: Tammy Little-Haynes.

Over 1,000 Seniors took part in the four-hour festivities.

Elected officials such as:

• Representative Randall Shedd
• Commissioner Kerry Watson
• Commissioner Garry Marchman
• Sheriff Matt Gentry
• Revenue Commissioner Barry ‘Homestead’ Willingham

… were among the dignitaries on hand to greet the attendees.

This heart-warming gathering was sponsored by Comfort Care, the Cullman County Commission on Aging, and of course, the Cullman Lions Club.
