Each November, our Cullman community celebrates Veterans Day with a day-long event.

It is always held the Saturday before Veterans Day so that our 7,000 Cullman County veterans can participate in the Birmingham or Huntsville Veterans Day parades.

The Cullman Elks Lodge #1609 plans and conducts the celebration. It is financed through donations from the Cullman city and county government, the Cullman County Community Development Commission (CCCDC), and our local businesses.

Admission and parking are free.

This is a family event designed in every way to tell the story of our veterans and the sacrifices they made to keep our nation free.

All citizens are encouraged to come out to remember and honor our veterans on this special day of tribute.
