Traditions Bank Robbed FBI Opens Investigation

Multiple units from the Cullman Police Department are active the Traditions Bank building on 2nd Avenue Northwest.

Law enforcement is responding to a reported robbery inside the bank.

The suspect is a white male, approximately age 35-50, dark hair, mustache, wearing a royal blue baseball cap.

Cullman Police Captain Becky Boyd provides an initial report:

The suspect departed the scene in a Jeep Liberty.

The amount of money or other assets taken in the heist, if any, is publicly unknown at this point.

It is also unclear if the robber brandished a firearm, other weapons, or issued a verbal or written threat.

The suspect has left the bank. The scene is secure. The bank remains open with patrons safely conducting banking business inside the facility, and in the drive-thru lanes.

Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are now en route to Cullman to begin their investigation.
