Cullman Taxpayers Screwed Schools Shorted by Alabama Higher Education

Principal Kim Hall & Coach Kyle Morris introduced the 2017 Alabama State Champion Cullman High Fishing Team to Mayor Woody Jacobs & City Council Monday.

These young men got a resolution of commendation from the Council for dominating the field at Lake Eufaula and bringing home the State Championship trophy to Cullman last summer.

The winning six-person team that honored in the Cullman City Hall chamber is comprised of:

• David Dueland
• Cameron Glasscock
• Lawson Graves
• Keaton Kinney
• Cy Lambert
• Houston Smith

The Bearcats took home the Alabama B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship trophy back in June on Lake Eufaula.

Walter F. George Lake (aka Lake Eufaula) is a 45,000-acre reservoir located on the Chattahoochee River between the states of Alabama and Georgia near Dothan, AL.

Glasscock and Graves had two-day catch of 29.45 pounds which qualified them for a slot in the Bassmaster High School National Championship at Kentucky Lake in Tennessee

The Bearcat anglers posted a tournament-high 56.56 pounds to win the six-man team State championship.

We speak with Coach Morris as well as Lambert and Graves immediately after receiving the commendation from the City Council Monday night:
