Community Wellness Week is happening January 1-6 at the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center!

Providing professional childcare, the Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center offers a state-of-the-art fitness and aquatic facility featuring 50+ group classes, weight machines, cardio equipment, indoor and outdoor competition pools, an indoor walking track, and an outdoor water park for all of your summer fun.

CWAC’s fitness center offers numerous classes. We offer aerobics, Zumba, and more in our group fitness rooms for classes. Personal trainers also coordinate for intense, one-on-one sessions, personalized workout programs, and nutritional advice. The basketball gymnasium is available for pick-up games, free play, volleyball, and other purposes including fitness instruction and games. A rubberized indoor walking track is suspended above the basketball gymnasium for walkers and joggers alike to utilize.

The Wellness & Aquatic Center boasts an award-winning aquatics department. Several aquatics classes are hosted each week, including water aerobics. The indoor aquatic facility includes a six-lane indoor competition pool with a diving board, whirlpool, and a children’s play area. In the summer, families can cool down at the outdoor water park, featuring three water slides, a lazy river, a child’s play area, and an eight-lane competition pool with high and low diving boards. The outdoor water park area houses poolside cabanas for rental, large umbrellas with shade, and a full-service concession stands to feature numerous options for both members and guests. Party rentals are also available for special events, birthdays, and any occasion.

After a hard workout, Oasis helps recuperate lost energy, while fully equipped locker rooms, a sauna, and on-site massage therapy prepare muscles for another day of action.

General Admission is $10 per person which includes access to the aquatic area or fitness areas.

Member Referral Program: Current members can refer new members for a contract to receive one month free added to their current membership. This offer is valid for up to 6 new member additions.

Current members must be present with new members signing up to take advantage of this special.

Volleyball courts can be reserved at no cost with a minimum of 6 people and a 24-hour notice.

Q: What are the hours for the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center?
A: Hours for CWAC are as follows: Mon – Thurs: 4:45am – 11:00pm; Fri: 4:45am – 7:00pm; Sat: 7:00am – 5:00pm; Sun: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

Q: How much is it to visit the Cullman Wellness Center for one day?
A: Day passes are $10 per person for one-day admission.

Q: How do I become a member of the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center?
A: You may sign up for membership in person. You have the option of a 12 or 6-month contract with either a monthly draft or payment in full & also an enrollment fee of $50.00.

Q: Do I have to pay my membership in full?
A: No. You have the option for a monthly draft with a 12 or 6-month contract.

Q: What date does the monthly draft come out of my account?
A: If choosing a month-to-month option, billing is an automatic withdrawal out of your account on the 10th of every month.

Q: What type of insurance do you take?
A: Viva insurance.

Q: What hours of the day is the indoor pool open?
A: Mon – Thurs: 4:45am – 9:00pm; Fri: 4:45am – 7:00pm; Sat: 7:00am – 5:00pm; Sun: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

Q: What hours is childcare open?
A: Mon – Fri: 8:00am – 7:00pm & Sat 8:00am – 12:00pm (with 2 hour intervals)

Q: How do I know if I am eligible for a corporate membership?
A: Check with the human resource manager at the place of your employment.

Q: Is it required that I be payroll deducted from a corporate account?
A: Yes. To have a corporate membership & get the corporate discount rate, your monthly dues must be payroll deducted.

Q: If I have a corporate membership & our employees drop the required amount of (10) will I lose my corporate membership?
A: No. Once a company becomes a corporate member, this is what we refer to as being “grandfathered in.” The only way an employee is no longer eligible for a corporate membership is through termination of employment or resigning from their place of employment.

Q: How much does a membership cost?

Q: Can I leave a 12-year old by themselves?
A: A child under the age of 14 must be with a parent or legal guardian at all times. (Parent or Guardian being 19 years of age or older)

Q: How much is a private pool party?
A: An indoor private party is $350 with a $150 deposit. If you are a member, you will receive a 10% discount. An outdoor private party is $550 with a $250 deposit. If you are a member, you will receive a 10% discount.

Q: How much is a party during business hours?
A: Room rental is $75 for an hour and a half. If you are a member, you will receive a 10% discount on the room rental. Day of the party, swimmers will pay $10 per person if not a member.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located off Main. Ave. in Cullman on Field of Miracles Drive. You can use the address 1641 Main Ave. SW Cullman, AL 35055 to plug into your GPS; turn onto Field of Miracles Drive from this address and the center is less than ¼ mile down the road.
