Cullman EMS is hosting the 3rd Annual 911 Chili Cook-Off.

This outstanding community support event will be held this Saturday (February 10) at Cullman EMS headquarters across from the Cullman County Courthouse (from 11 am to 2 pm).

Chili is priced at an incredibly low $1 per bowl.

The roster of top participating chili chefs is comprised of personnel from Cullman County’s Law Enforcement, Firefighting, Rescue, EMS, and Dispatcher community.

All proceeds benefit Saving Forgotten Warriors.

Two-time ‘People’s Choice’ winner – Daniel Cummings – will defend his title. All residents are invited to attend and vote for their favorite chili. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded by popular vote.

Cullman EMS Director James Curtis will select the ‘Director’s Choice’ winner. Tim Collins from Cullman Today is the victim selected to choose the ‘Hottest Chili Award’.

Anyone who makes a $1 chili bowl donation will be entered into drawings to win door prizes.

Two (2) platinum ROCK THE SOUTH tickets will also be raffled off as door prizes. Raffle tickets are $1, or $5 for six.

Director Curtis has these thoughts on the 3rd annual event:

“This event is a time where those who serve their community come together for some friendly competition. It’s a great way for us to be able to meet the people of the community we serve, as well as an opportunity to give back to our community.”

Cullman EMS is located at 601 2nd Ave SW, Cullman, AL 35055.
