2018 Cullman Lions Club Fish Ham Dinner

It is getting to be that time of year: The Lions will be serving Catfish and Pigs – all for a great cause!

On Saturday, March 3rd, the Cullman Lions Club will hold its always much-anticipated 47th annual Fish and Ham Dinner.

This event is the Cullman Lion’s second biggest fundraiser of the year right behind the Cullman County Fair.

This fish and ham dinner runs from 11 am to 6 pm inside Cullman Middle School Cafeteria.

The full plate costs only $10 and consists of:

★ Catfish filet or Ham

• Baked potato
• Slaw
• Hush puppies
• Homemade Dessert
• A Drink

Patrons will have these options open to them:

• Eat-in
• Carry out
• Pick up from drive-thru (north side of school)

Charlie Powell, longtime Cullman Lions Club member, and fundraising committee leader is enthusiastic about the 2018 dinner:

“When patrons come through and purchase their choice of catfish or ham, they are going to be in for a treat. (I am partial to the hush puppies by the way). With all due humility, we put together a heckuva meal. Also, folks need to understand that this a charity fundraising meal. All proceeds we generate, go right back into the Cullman community supporting our Cullman Lions Club projects.

Prices on food have gone up significantly over the years. One of these years, we are going to have to raise the price a dollar or so. But, we’ve worked smart and hard to keep the cost of these dinners down for the people who support us.”

Plates are available for purchase the day of the event; no advanced investments required.

Also, pre-meal tickets are also available from:
