Cullman Rotary Club Auction 45th Annual

All Cullman area residents are invited to the 45th annual Cullman Rotary Club Auction. This event will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Cullman Civic Center.

This Cullman tradition is an auction open to the public with hundreds of items donated by local merchants and individuals. There is something for every taste and in every price range. In years past, here are some of the items that were made available:

• Bicycles
• Collectibles
• Electronics
• Furniture
• Gift Cards
• Grills
• Home Furnishings
• Legal Services
• Massages
• Oil changes
• Pet Supplies
• Restaurant Meal Certificates
• Televisions
• Tools
• Vacation Packages
• And much, much more

Auctioneer for this event will be the inimitable Joe Hagan.

If you plan to make bids at the auction, you should plan to arrive as early as 4:30 pm in order to get a proper bidder number. After that, you can then stroll around the Civic Center, and browse the many items available for both the live and silent auctions.

On the Cullman Rotary Club Facebook page you can get a sneak preview of some of the items that will be available. Images will be posted for preview there right up to auction time.

The silent auction runs from 5:30 to 6:15 pm; the live auction starts at 6:45 pm. Admission to the auction is 100% free.

According to Fundraising Chair Eli Howard:

“It’s such a great community event. We receive our auction items from generous donations by local businesses, industries, and individuals. All the proceeds are used to provide charitable donations throughout the community and we recognize our sponsors at the time of auction.”

Major Raffle As Well

In addition to auction items, there will be a raffle for:

★ A Glock 9mm handgun

★ A $500 cash prize (donated by Merchants Bank of Alabama)

Raffle tickets are available from any Cullman Rotary Club member for $1 per ticket or six tickets for $5. Tickets will also be available at the auction and you do not have to be present to win.
