The Cullman Elks have just received a check for $1,000 from the Houston Texas Elks Lodge #151.

You may remember how the Cullman Elks mobilized two semi-trailers full of charity Hurricane Harvey relief supplies to Houston, TX in August 2017.

For background, go here.

The Houston area Elks heard about the recent hailstorm damage in Cullman. They wanted to reciprocate the assistance bestowed upon them last year.

Since the United Way of Cullman County assisted the Cullman Elks’ efforts with Hurricane Harvey, they decided to pass on the $1,000 check to the United Way this year to distribute the funds to those in need.

In this photograph, Patrick James, Gwen Parker, Jackie Ridgeway, and Dale Ball of the Cullman Elks present the $1,000 check to Sammie Danford and Pepper Hoover of the United Way of Cullman County.
