MINER & JOWERS Dominate

Cullman Middle School added another State Archery title to their resume last Friday.

Competing in the 2018 National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Alabama State Championship Tournament, the Middle School Bearcats slipped by Vinemont Middle School by a score of (3344 to 3321). They also led the field with a whopping 176 Tens.

In addition to CMS and Vinemont, Cullman area schools did very well in this division with Arab finishing #11 and West Point Middle weighing in at #12 among a loaded field of twenty-three schools.

JACKSON MINER was the stud for CMS dropping 20 Tens on the way to an aggregate score of 289. This made Miner the #1 middle school boy in the state of Alabama as well as the #1 8th grade boy.

JAMIE JOWERS was not far behind with a 285 tally including 21 Tens! Jowers ended up the #3 middle school girl in the state of Alabama and the #2 8th grade girl.
