Multiple groups of volunteers are active in Cullman County today. These groups are comprised of high school students, concerned citizens, elected officials, and civic leaders from various Cullman municipalities.

They are out picking up unsightly roadside litter.

This operation is sponsored by PALS (People Against Littered State).

This initiative is not only in Cullman County; it is occurring statewide.

We are in Good Hope right now. State Representative Corey Harbison and local PALS President Cherrie Haney are leading this effort along County Road 222:

Alabama People Against A Littered State (ALPALS) is a statewide organization dedicated to making our state more beautiful by sponsoring programs focused on cleaning up litter in Alabama’s streets, streams, campuses, and coastlines.
