According to Mayor Jerry Bartlett, crews in the City of Good Hope are working to improve water flow in the city’s drainage ditches by removing restrictive vegetation.

In addition, these crews are removing limbs and debris that have built up at the ends of culverts.

This effort will limit the potential for water damage during heavy rains and potential spring flash foods.
