CANDIDATE SPOTLIGHT Scott Stadthagen
Alabama District 9 House of Representatives

The Cullman County Republican Party is posting a series of filmed interviews with all candidates running for public office in opposed races ahead of the June 5 primary election. These videos will appear on the Party’s website and here on Cullman Today.

All candidates running for a specific public office will be asked the same questions concerning ideas, thoughts, and issues. The goal of this film interview series is to provide transparent voter education with no filter between the candidate and the voting public.

The Cullman County Republican Party will be posting one office per week with the Alabama District 9 House of Representatives candidates spotlighted here in Week 6.

Party Chairman Waid Harbison acts as the interviewer and moderator for this entire voter education series. Steve Cummings provided graphic arts, lighting, and audio services. Tim Collins was the filmmaker.

The Cullman Civic Center was rented by the Party to serve as the setting for all interviews.

Below, Scott Stadthagen seeks his first term as an Alabama State Representative serving the citizens of District 9 (portions of Cullman, Marshall, and Morgan counties). He outlines his thoughts about the office for the next 4 years:
