PHYLLIS LITTLE Wins Pat Neuhauser Spirit of EMA Award

The Pat Neuhauser Spirit of Emergency Management Award is presented to an individual who is dedicated, faithful and loyal with a high level of enthusiasm in promoting emergency management and a willingness to share and serve.

This is the most prestigious award offered by the ALABAMA ASSOCIATION OF EMERGENCY MANAGERS.

One award is presented each year. A person may only be awarded once.

Phyllis Little of Cullman County EMA is the 2018 recipient of this award.

This is a huge win for Phyllis and all of Cullman County.

In this interview, we speak with the award-winning EMA Director, Phyllis Little. She discusses how she learned about receiving the award, the vast duties of her position, and her lifelong curiosity for disaster and public safety stemming from a childhood incident with bad weather:
