Stick a few flowers in a pot, and it’s still a bouquet, right? I guess, technically, it is.

My Pinterest page leads me to believe I can do anything with some vines, twine, and borrowed creativity. However, if you want decorating elevated from ‘technically’ to ‘tremendous,’ don’t look at me – call the experts at Cullman Florist.

Another of our oldies, but goodies, Cullman Florist has been around since 1966 – purchased on a whim, kept alive on a string, and now flourishing into the new century on a prayer and a passion for sending a message with flora.

What makes Cullman Florist so unique?

As with all of those businesses we’ve chosen as our Merchant of the Month, it’s the people. Floral designer Stephanie Cook isn’t someone who dryly arranges plants – she is an artist who breathes life into ‘The Arrangement.’ ‘The Arrangement’needs to be referred to by no other name, and that with a few precise changes can express the deepest sympathy, exuberant joy, or delicate congratulations.

As President of the Alabama chapter of Teleflora, an international organization dedicated to floral quality and education, Manager Carla Fussell brings a reverence for the classics, while simultaneously reveling in the new trends that can set your wedding bouquet a cut above the rest. Following her mission, she is an active giver in the community.

Last Christmas, she and Stephanie partnered with the Cullman Homeschool Connection to donate and deliver bouquets to brighten nursing homes throughout Cullman. This year, they are teaming up again to participate in Teleflora’s Make Someone Smile Week (July 22-28) by delivering the signature Teleflora Be Happy Bouquet to a local nursing home.

Cullman Florist isn’t just home to the solution to all of your floral needs; they are home to soothing chimes and whimsical garden art poles that can bring joy to your space, both inside and out.

Together, these artists take the traditions that Cullman holds so dear and enhance them – the stale becomes classic, the fresh becomes innovative, and flowers become art.
