CULLMAN CRIME SUPPRESSION UNIT
Hits Busy Period of Narcotics Arrests

The Cullman Police DepartmentCullman Crime Suppression Unit‘ was very active in the month of July and to start August.

Here are just five of the arrests made by the Unit during that time period:

CASE #1

Between July 12th and July 31st, TONYA FARR CUNNINGHAM has been arrested on (5) counts of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance for selling Methamphetamine as well as other charges that include theft of property 3rd, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cunningham is 41 years old and a resident of the City of Cullman, and remains incarcerated at the Cullman County Detention Center at the time of this report.

CASE #2

On August 1, 2018, Unit agents along with Officers assigned to Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant on County Road 1163 in the Terrace Heights area.

During the search warrant, Officers recovered approximately 20 grams of Methamphetamine along with Amphetamine pills, Suboxone Sublingual film and drug paraphernalia.

SELENA COFER was placed under arrest for unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Cofer was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where she was booked in without incident.

Cofer is 39 years old and a resident of Cullman.

CASE #3

On July 24, 2018, the Unit executed a search warrant on County Road 260 just west of Dodge City.

During the search warrant, Officers recovered approximately 19 grams of Methamphetamine along with Alprazolam pills, Clonazepam pills, and drug paraphernalia.

KATHY MICHELLE WOODS was arrested for Unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Woods was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where she was booked in without incident. Woods has since been released on bond.

Woods is 37 years old and is a resident of Cullman

CASE #4

On August 1,2018, Unit Officers that are assigned to the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested DONALD EUGENE HILL for 1 count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance for selling Methamphetamine. Hill was already incarcerated on another drug charge at the time of his arrest and Hill still remains incarcerated.

Hill is 33 years old and is a resident of Hanceville.

CASE #5

On August 1, 2018, Unit Officers that are assigned to the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested REGINA MARIE SWAIN for 1 count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance for selling Methamphetamine. Swain was already incarcerated on an unrelated charge at the time of her arrest and Swain still remains incarcerated.

Swain is 46 years old and is a resident of Vinemont.
