The tournament honoree – Brandon Barnett – sadly passed away at the young age of 36. Brandon was born on March 27, 1982, and passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Brandon was a resident of Cullman County at the time of passing. Mr. Barnett grew up in the Holly Pond area and attended Holly Pond High School.

Caden Barnett 10th grader at Cullman High School and Walker Johnson 9th grader at West Point High School graciously came up with the idea to put on a memorial tournament as a way to give back to the family.

Amber Barnett, Brandon’s surviving spouse, would like to thank everyone involved with the tournament,

“It means so much to have two young men come up and put on a tournament in honor of Brandon. We would also like to thank Vans Sporting Goods, Mary Carters, Wilborn Outdoors, Commissioner Garry Marchman, and Chambers Farm and Garden.”
