Cullman Savings Bank President and CEO John Riley had these thoughts immediately after the check presentation:

“The Good Samaritan Health Clinic is crucial to serving the medical needs of Cullman’s uninsured and low income medical patients. The monetary costs required to maintain a continuity of medical care on a daily basis at Good Samaritan is substantial. Cullman Savings Bank understands that meaningful local donations from organizations, businesses, and individuals are necessary to keep the doors of this important resource open to the public.

Cullman Savings Bank, the Foundation, and our employees are honored to be an ongoing donor and supporter of this incredibly worthy organization.”

Jolanda Hutson, Director of Good Samaritan Health Clinic, offered her thanks to the Cullman Savings Bank and spoke excitedly about the upcoming concert:

“We are grateful for Cullman Savings Bank Foundation’s ongoing support of the clinic’s efforts.

It is because of these kinds of these partnerships that we are able to continue to provide quality continuity of care to the uninsured in our community. Anyone who would like to join Cullman Savings Bank Foundation in supporting the clinic will have the opportunity to do so through our annual benefit concert. You may support the clinic through purchasing tickets or by being an event sponsor.

I encourage everyone to make plans to attend. You won’t be disappointed. You will laugh, be encouraged and enjoy a great evening of entertainment for a great cause.”

About the Cullman Savings Bank Foundation

In 2002, the Board of Directors voted to create a foundation for the purpose of giving back to our community in yet another way. The Cullman Savings Foundation continues to give back to various community projects including Cullman’s Miracle Field, The Good Samaritan Clinic, and many other projects which enrich the community and make it a better place to live.

Cullman Savings Bank has always been concerned with Cullman County exclusively. Nearly all of its customers are residents or former residents of Cullman County. The Cullman County border still serves as the bank’s designated lending area boundary line, just as it did in 1887. The directors and employees are proud of the bank’s history and how it is interwoven into the fabric of our community.
