You’ve seen the fliers, signs and raffle tickets all over Cullman County for the last few weeks … and the time has finally come. This weekend is the 2015 Cullman County Sheriffs Office Jimmy Arrington Memorial RODEO.

Remember: This rodeo will be held indoors inside a heated arena … weather will not be a factor!
Date: Friday, December 11 & Saturday, December 12
Time: Gates Open at 5:30 pm
Location: Cullman County Agriculture Trade Center, 17645 US Highway 31, Cullman, AL
Cost: $10 per adult – $8 students (age 6 to 18)
In addition to the top flight rodeo action, there will be a Ladies Envelope Scramble (this is where ladies from the audience will have the opportunity to search for prizes in an envelope hidden somewhere within the arena).
There will also be an entertaining Little Cowpoke Gold Rush (this is sponsored by Gold Rush Jewelers providing opportunities to win jewelry).
The 4L Rodeo Company is one of the most outstanding rodeo stock contracting companies in the southeastern United States. Founded in 1985 by champion calf roper and steer wrestler Charlie Lowry, the company has grown from five small productions its first year to producing 25 events a year.
4L Rodeo host PRCA, IPRA, NIRA and high school rodeos and rough stock schools.
In 2009, Lowry widened his vision for 4L Rodeo Company by becoming partners with David Simpson, Diamond S Bucking Bulls, Weatherford, Texas forming the 4L and Diamond S Rodeo Company. The new company has provided stock for numerous rodeos such as Cheyenne, Omaha, Odessa, San Antonio and Fort Worth. 4L & Diamond S Rodeo have provided bulls for the PRCA Xtreme Bulls as well as the Wrangler National Final Rodeo in Las Vegas.
4L & Diamond S Rodeo has featured bulls at the WNFR every year since being formed. In the 2010 race for PRCA Bucking Bull of the Year Big Iron won second. Then in 2011 PRCA bull riders voted 4L & Diamond S Rodeo bulls, Palm Springs and Big Iron, the number one and number two Bucking Bulls of the Year. 4L & Diamond S Rodeo captured the number one spot again in 2012 with a bull named Cat Balou. In 2013 six 4L & Diamond S bulls made their way to the Wrangler National Finals but none finished in the top three. Lowry has his goal set on another top three finish in 2014.
